Located in the southwest of Shanxi Province and in the north of Yuncheng City, Xinjiang County has a long history in China. The Xinjiang dialect belongs to the Jiangzhou Section Dialects, which is part of Fenhe Section Dialects of Zhongyuan Mandarin. Jiangzhou section includes Xinjiang County, Jiang County, Yuanqu County, Wenxi County, Xia County, Wanrong County, Qinshui County for about ten counties. Among them Wenxi, Jishan, Houma, Xiangfen are neighborhoods with Xinjiang.In this paper, the retroflex suffixation, Affix Zi and overlapping in Xinjiang dialect was studied systematically in a comparative way, in order to make a static description and a dynamic contrast of the three additional forms. Through comparing the ole-style with the new-style of Xinjiang dialect, we want to find the active degree and the regional characteristics in the three additional forms.First, this paper introduced the history and the geography of Xinjiang County. Then we made a systematic analysis of the retroflex suffixation, Affix Zi and overlapping in Xinjiang dialect from word-formation, grammatical functions and ideographic features. Finally, based on the previous analysis, we compared the three additional forms and their age difference and regional difference.The retroflex suffixation is abundant in Xinjiang dialect, and it is a diminutive in Xinjiang dialect, which also expresses additional meaning, for example, love. The main function of Affix Zi is to change part of speech, which changed the adjective, verb and some classifier to none. The retroflex suffixation, Affix Zi and overlapping in Xinjiang dialect are diminutive, all of them can change part of speech. Xinjiang dialect divided into two groups called Fennan dialect and Fenbei dialect, they are different in forms and application range. Xinjiang dialect is also different from its peripheral dialect. The difference between the ole-style and the new-style in Xinjiang dialect is quantity of "AA儿/子" and "AA" style.
