There are many differences between Jiao Nan dialect and the mandarin Chinese. Fistly, there are many overlapping phenomenons in Jiao Nan dialect, which include the non-word overlapping phenomenons and word overlapping phenomenons. It not only can create new words but also can express many grammatical meanings.Secondly, there are many affixes in Jiao Nan dialect, and they also can create new words. There are 4 noun prefixes,9 adjective prefixes,5 adjective infixes,13 noun suffixes,7 adjective suffixes, 11 verd suffixes and 3 multi-category suffixes. Thirdly, there are 8 kinds of aspect in the Jiao Nan dialect. Forthly, there are 2 kinds of special structures in the Jiao Nan dialect, the two special structures are发+颜色词/形容词"and "V/A+人".Fifthly, the modal particle and interjection systerm in the Jiao Nan dialect is different from that in the mandarin Chinese. There are 12 modal particles which include 9 monosyllabic modal particles and 3 polysyllabic modal particles.There are 8 interjections,which include 5 monosyllabic interjections and 3 polysyllabic interjections (here we take the compound interjections as one)...
