The most distinctive gap between dialect and common spoken Chinese (Putonghua) is the sound of speech. The traditional dialect researches focus on the description of dialect phonology. Relatively speaking, the researches of dialect vocabulary and grammar are much weaker. Wuqiao dialect belongs to the Huanglao part of Jilu Mandarin Canghui parts in the North dialect area, that is, Shiheng parts of Hebei dialect. Excepting the brief introduction, no more than 1,000 words, in the "Dialect·Grammar" part of Wuqiao county annals, there is no any specialized records on Wuqiao dialect grammar research.This paper takes Wuqiao dialect grammar as the research subject through comparing national mutual language and applying analysis methods such as distribution, comparison, and changeability to conclude and deductive the unique grammar phenomenon in Wuqiao dialect, and describes the rules. It represents the most distinctive rules and phenomenon but doesn't construct complete Wuqiao dialect grammar system as the aim. In the analyzing process, the paper insists on the actual Wuqiao oral speech, puts emphasis on comparing with the national mutual language, chooses and sets examples in details, and explores the local feature in Wuqiao dialect grammar.The first chapter is introduction. It introduces the geographical features, population, and history of Wuqiao. It also contains the overview, main characteristics, background and current research, as well as research approach and style instruction of Wuqiao dialect.The second chapter is the structure of Wuqiao dialect. It emphasizes on analyzing the distinctive dialect prefix such as "jia, tou, da, lao, ge" and suffix "jia, zi, tou, dan, ba, ca, la, da" respectively. It analyzes the overlapping form of noun, verb, and quantifier in Wuqiao dialect and its grammatical meanings and rules. The third chapter is the parts of speech in Wuqiao dialect. This paper combs the close class in details, and analyzes sorts of common expressions such as pronouns, adverbs, prepositions, modal particles, auxiliary words with examples. It only analyzes high-frequent function words and parts of notional words because of limited space and content. This paper attaches importance to distinguish all the ways of saying and examples which are full of Wuqiao dialect features in Wuqiao dialect context practically and realistically.The fourth chapter concludes and analyzes the unique syntax phenomenon in Wuqiao dialect. It includes special collocation pattern, complement, omission of auxiliary words "liu", and distinctive sentence patterns, such as comparative sentence.It expects the research of this paper could offer a few commonplace remarks by way of introduction so that others may come up with valuable opinions, and could contribute little strength to enrich language facts in Chinese dialectology.
