Wa folk is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Wa people, is the portrayal of the wa human history, life, with distinctive regionalism and nationalism, is the cultural treasure of all ethnic groups in China. In this paper, the author mainly in Ximeng County Meng card Folk Song Zhen Da Hei Shan and its surrounding detailed investigation, the classification of Ximeng wa folk and its artistic morphological characteristics and cultural connotation of were studied. In the process of investigation and the ontology of music recording, camera and folk songs of notation, and more comprehensive understanding of the social history and culture of the wa. Finally, the author combines the contents of the survey and Ximeng county and other books to finish this paper. Chapter three is the research of Ximeng wa folk function, through access to collect observations and data to summarize the function of Ximeng wa folk. Chapter four is a study of Ximeng wa folk culture implication. At last part is the conclusion of the thesis:although some traditional Ximeng VA has become the past, but in the folk songs are still retained a primitive culture; wa cave our gang and instruments wooden drum worship in minority areas is rare, it attaches exists in the folk song, is special; the development "a Wa people sing a new song is pluralistic, promote the inheritance and development of national culture, folk diversified development has set a benchmark.
