"Eye" And Related Human Body Words Research Based On Cognitive Theory

This paper aims to research the metaphor phenomenon of human eye vocabulary,based on thecombination of the traditional theory of cognitive linguistic theory; build a network structure ofhuman eye vocabulary, based on the theory of radial network. The object of this paper is Chineseword "eye " and related words. The research methods of this paper include corpus analysis,quantitative and qualitative methods, described and illustrated method.This paper selected ten literature works to establish a closed corpus as a corpus source. On thebasis of cognitive linguistic theory, this paper researched the metaphor phenomenon of humaneye vocabulary. In this paper, the human eye vocabulary metaphors were classified. The "eyesare spring" metaphor was used in a creative way. The human eye vocabulary is divided into sixcategories. The relationship between these categories was researched for the first time. Theresearch has found the relationship between all kinds of metaphors is cross-cutting. Thisrelationship can be expressed by diagrams.At present, about the human eye vocabulary, no research is based on the topology of thecognitive linguistic theory. This paper researched the polysemy of “eye vocabulary”. UsedChinese words “yanqian” as an example, the paper built a network of cognitive topology. Thispaper proved Chinese human eye vocabulary can be analyzed using radial and topologynetworks.This paper also clarifies the significance of the vocabulary research based on cognitive linguistictheory. The practical significance of this study is to provide assistance to teaching Chinese as aforeign languish. I hope this research can contribute for Chinese vocabulary research which isbased on cognitive linguistic theory.
