The study used cluster random sampling method to select541effective participants of different grades, who were from Shan X Normal university, and aimed to explore the relationship among perfectionism、academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination. Data was collected by Procrastination Assessment Scale-students (PASS), academic self-efficacy scale, Chinese version of Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale.It was found that;(1)In all, Undergraduates shows middle degree about the academic procrastination, and different types of academic task exists procrastination of different degree. It shows the most serioes degree to complete teacher assigned task and at the igtttest to attend the affairs.(2)Although the undergraduates’ procrastination didn’t have significant differences on the demographic variables in the total; The different academic task types had significant differences on the demographic variables.(3)Undergraduates’academic self-efficacy was overall in the differences on the demographic variables, but there was a significantinteraction in gender and grade.(4) The total perfectionism score was slightly higher than thegeneral level, different dimension had different score. The total scoreof perfectionism had no significant differences on the demographicvariables; negative perfectionism and worrying about mistakes weresignificant difference on grade variables; positive perfectionism andpersonal standard were significant difference on the home locationvariable; worrying about mistakes in singleton variables also showedsignificant difference.(5)There existed significant positive correlation betweenuniversity students’ positive perfectionism and academicprocrastination, significant negative correlation between negativeperfectionism and academic procrastination; academic self-efficacyand its two dimensions had obvious negative correlation withacademic procrastination;university students'positive perfectionismhas significant positive correlation with academic self-efficacy andits two dimensions; and negative perfectionism has significantnegative correlation with academic self-efficacy and its twodimensions.(6) Positive perfectionism had remarkable negative predictablefunction on the level of academic procrastination; negativeperfectionism had remarkable positive predictable function on thelevel of academic procrastination; positive perfectionism hadremarkable positive predictable function on the level of academicself-efficacy, negative perfectionism had remarkable negativepredictable function on the level of academic self-efficacy. (7)The Mediating effect showed that academic self-efficacyplayed a part mediating effect between perfectionism and academicprocrastination.
