| Film review has born with the very important task since thebeginning of the birth and it is the bridge of communication with theaudience. Film review, which includes various information ofaudience’s mood, reflection,intention and evaluation for film, haseffective feedback effects on creation, production and distributionindustry. In the late90’s, traditional film review became decayingand stuck in bottleneck. Online film review has sprung upeverywhere and becomes an important power in a short years.Online film review took the forums, blog as the main form at thebeginning of the development. Along with the birth of new media,the shape of online film review becomes more and more rich andwith the rapid development of Chinese film industry and thepopularization of microblog, microblog was born. As the new typeof online film review, microblog film review has advantages anddisadvantage. But beyond all question, microblog film review hasgreat impact on film review and Chinese film industry.This paper first sorts out the situation of traditional film reviewat the end of last century, the rise of film review and the birth ofmicroblog film review as well as summarizes the current situation of relevant research in the introduction part. Then, chapter one ofthis paper generalizes the development trend of microblog filmreview at macro level, including media foundation--microblog,ontology definition, the rise of motivation analysis, disseminationcharacteristics and classification research. Chapter two classifiesand researches the microblog film review. According to thepublication subject, microblog film review can be divided intoexperts critic, film critic creators, media filmmaker, critic filmreview and other audiences’ microblog film review. According thepurpose of review, it can be distributed into academic research filmreview, promotion film review and the feedback film review, andaccording to the time of review, it can be split into pre-evaluation,show period and subsequential film review.
