Also these murals demonstrate the mystery and charm of the Tibetan Buddhismart. This article focused on the research of image forms of the Cave465murals. To try to findthe artistic value of the murals of the Cave465,,we compared and analyzed the Mural of FiveDhyani Buddhas, and also researched its special historical and cultural background by usingthe method of iconography and graphic arts.As a foreign culture,Buddhism have created lots of stunning artistic works aftercontinuous collision and fusion with Chinese native culture since it had been spread in Chinaduring the South and North Dynasties.Dunhuang, as an ancient Buddhist sacred land, is animportant place on the Silk Road.Dunhuang Murals showed the world both ChineseBuddhism art and Chinese nation’s humanities concern, which Chinese contemporary figurepaintings should focus on.The contemporary figure paintings should not be limited to justshow technical skills, also it should try to show the spirit of human and true feelings.
