A Study On The C-E Translation Of Culture-specific Lexicons In Huangdi’s Cannon Of Internal Medicine From The Perspective Of Eco-translation Theory Through Contrastive Analysis Of Li Zhaoguo’s Version And Veith’s Version

In recent years, with the strengthening of international communication, Chinese medicine increasingly brought to the attention of the Pharmaceutical industry, and TCM translation work has been widely carried out. Through the efforts of the Chinese and foreign translators in several decades, translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine has made great progress. In order to study and develop TCM, foreign scholars and researchers in our country are committed to the TCM literature translation work. For the sake of continuing the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we should not only devote to TCM translation study, but also need to pay attention to the culture of Chinese medicine, and make Chinese medicine to be more international.Huangdi’s Cannon of Internal Medicine, which called Neijing for short. It builds the basic frame of TCM theory system, and is the footstone of the development of Chinese Medicine. Besides, its profound cultural background has provided a solid foundation for its international.Eco-translation theory is promoted by Doctor Hu Gensheng, which is established on the basis of "adapataion and selection". Eco-translation theory can be understood as a translation study on the ecology approach, or the translation study from the perspective of ecology angle. Because Eco-translation theory at least involved in ecology and translatology, it can be regarded as an interdisciplinary study.Recent years, as the translation of medical classics becoming more and more important, it appears many English versions, and it starts to compare the difference among different versions. This paper intents to start from the perspective of Eco-translation theory, tries to find the balance among the three dimensions in the cross-cultural in communication- language, culture and communication, we are in pursuit of better translation methods of and in order to provide certain reference for TCM classics translation.
