A Translation Project Report Of Internal Medicine Of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Chapter ?) Under The Guidance Of Functional Equivalence Theory

As the treasure of Chinese culture,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been attached more and more importance in recent years,and TCM culture has been wide spread,among of which the translation for TCM classic literature plays an important role in the dissemination of TCM culture.Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the main course of TCM,which is the theoretical basis of clinical practice for TCM and can?t be ignored.This translation project takes the latest edition of textbook of Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the original text,and adopts Trados as the translation tool for assistance,parallel texts and other materials for translation reference under the Guidance of Functional Equivalence Theory.The author is responsible for the translation of chapter 1(Pulmonary system disease),which contains 28,000 words in total.This translation practice report consists of four parts.The first part is a brief introduction of the project,which mainly introduces the text,major content,analysis for the text and project significance of the project.The second part mainly introduces the division of translation tasks,translation assistant tool(such as Trados,translation glossaries,parallel text and the dictionaries for reference)and the reviewers.The third part is the translation case analysis,which mainly focuses on the three levels of TCM terms,four-word phrases and long and difficult sentences.From the professional perspective of translation,this part comprehensively applies the professional knowledge and practical experience to analyze and explain the problems and difficult points in the translation.The fourth part is the summary of the translation practice,sorting out the experience and harvest of the practice,reflecting on the deficiencies during the practice,in order to provide reference for the translation of similar texts in the future.
