A Research Of Rosa Luxemburg’s Philosophic Thoughts

With the development of the world socialism slumping into a low tide and the tremendous change of the world pattern since the 1990s, Rosa Luxemburg’s thoughts and their contemporary values attracted more and more attention in the academic community. But unfortunately, scholars at home and abroad were all focus their researches on her political and economic thoughts, thus neglected the systematic study of her philosophic thoughts. All of these hampered the further research of Luxemburg’s thoughts, and influenced the overall assessment of her thoughts’status in the history of Marxist Philosophy. Whereupon, aiming at deepen the research of Luxemburg’s thoughts and current values in the academic community, this article will make a systematic exploration of the whole philosophic thoughts of Luxemburg from the angles of historical and logistic. And I will make a overall assessment of her philosophic thoughts’status in the developing history of Marxist Philosophy accordingly.The text of this article mainly divided into four interconnected parts.Part One:reviewed the historical contexts and theoretical roots of the Luxemburg’s philosophic thoughts’formation. From the perspective of historical contexts, between the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, the world capitalism was changing from the Era of Economic Freedom to the Era of Monopoly Capitalism. And the core center of the Revolutionary Moves of the World Socialism was moving from the Western Europe to the Russia. So the methodological criticism and the current researches about the movements of capitalism and socialism were becoming the main philosophic ideas of Luxemburg. From the perspective of theoretical roots, Luxemburg’s philosophic thoughts were profoundly affected by the Hegelian Philosophy, especially the Marxist Philosophy.Part Two:made a totally analysis and a systematic study to the basic framework of Luxemburg’s philosophic thoughts from three interconnected aspects. These three aspects (Methodological Principles, Compositional Segments, and Philosophic Characteristics) were aiming at presenting a all-sided Rosa Luxemburg.Part Three:made a overall assessment of Luxemburg’s philosophic thoughts’status in the Marxist Philosophic History. Luxemburg’s philosophic thoughts not only enriched the philosophic ideas of Marxism, but also offered some important ideological and theoretical resources to the Western Marxism. But because of the restrictor of the development of social practice and so on, her philosophic thoughts have some limitations.Part Four:illuminated the contemporary enlightenments of Luxemburg’s philosophy, and pointed out the further questions and directions concerning the study of Luxemburg’s philosophy.Anyway, make a systematic research of the Luxemburg’s philosophic thoughts are not only helpful to deepen the whole research of the Luxemburg’s thoughts, but we can also acquire some useful enlightenments concerning the construction of the Chinese Characteristic Socialism.
