| The North period is also known as the North county times, a special history that Vietnam as a county to the northern Chinese feudal regime. This period mark as QIN Shihuang established Xiang county in the northern of Vietnam. After SONG Taizu appointed DING Buling as the king of Jiaozhi county, Vietnam officially established its own feudal regime, and became an independent feudal state. This epoch is more than one thousand years, and playing an important part in the history of Chinese and Vietnam. Because of the special relationship between the two countries, a large number of ancient literatures about customs, natural things, historical legends of Vietnam and southern China appeared. But to many factors, most of them had been lost.This article aims to compile the lost documents, and make a comprehensive study on the basis of them. It contains the following parts: Chapter one, overview of the literature. This chapter writes a summary of these documents, including issues related to each document’s writer, the title,the volume and the main content. And combines the ancient bibliography and results of previous studies to explain and discriminate.Chapter two, the discussion of the background and various factors that the documents produced. This chapter analysis of the intrinsic motivation about these documents produced from political background, ethnic relations, foreign relations and social trends. Chapter three, research on the contents and characteristics of these documents. This part conducts a comprehensive analysis of these documents, and exploring its main content. It includes geography, natural resources, ethnic customs, history and legends four aspects. And then, analyze the different characteristics of each content. Chapter four, summarize the value and signification of these documents. This chapter analysis it from the historical and geographical value, biological value, agricultural value and folklore value to highlight the importance of these documents. |
