The Study Of The Relation Among Childhood Experiences,Competitive Attitudes And Interpersonal Trust

Childhood experiences is a variety of good or bad experiences in childhood (before 18) which affect the development of physical or mental health,including a series of physical,emotional,spiritual or family-social environment experiences. On the basis of the literature review,interview research and open questionnaire survey,we built the dimensions of childhood experiences and initial childhood experiences questionnaire,through project analysis,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis.Then using self-compiled childhood experiences questionnaire,competitiveness attitudes scale and interpersonal trust scale to investigate their relationships.And adopts a dictator game as experimental paradigm to discuss trust repair in competitive relationship,a total of 160 different company employees participated in the experiment. The results indicated that:(1)The self-compiled childhood experiences questionnaire has good reliability and validity,includes nine dimensions that emotional neglect,physical neglect,emotional and physical abuse,sexual abuse,domestic violence, family relationship,love,friendship and companions number. Through statistical analysis,the childhood experiences questionnaire can be used.(2)The 645 subjects childhood experiences in the medium level,the total scores and each dimension of childhood experiences are significant different on gender,age,marital status and job.On gender,men and women in emotional neglect, body ignored, emotional and physical abuse, sexual assault are significant different, males score higher than women;On family relations, love, friendship and childhood experiences,women score is significantly higher than male.On age,emotional neglect,body ignored, sexual abuse, family violence, love, friendship and childhood experiences extremely significant different.On the marital status:single,married and single, divorced or widowed people in emotional neglect,body ignore, love, friendship and childhood experiences extremely significant differences in total score.The emotional neglect,the body ignore of company employees score significantly higher than students,their love,friendship and childhood experiences are significantly higher than company employees.(3)The 645 subjects competitive attitudes in the medium level,the total scores and each dimension of competitive attitudes are significant different on gender,one-child and job.On gender,men and women competitive attitudes,hyper-competitiveness attitudes and personal development competitiveness attitudes are significant different,males score higher than women;Only child competitive attitudes scores higher than non-only child;Civil servants personal development competitiveness attitudes and the total scores of competitive attitudes are significant lower than company employees,employees of public institutions and others.(4)The 645 subjects interpersonal trust at lower level,there are significant differences in age,37 years of age or older people scores are significant lower than 23～27 and 33～37 years old.(5)The childhood experiences and the personal development competitiveness attitudes,interpersonal trust have significant positive correlation,and the hyper-competitiveness attitudes have significant negative correlation.Personal development competitiveness attitudes and emotional and physical abuse, sexual assault have significant negative correlation;and love, friends quantity, friendship have significant positive correlation.Hyper-competitiveness attitudes and emotional neglect, body ignored, emotional and physical abuse, sexual assault have significant positive correlation;and family relationships, love, friendships have significant negative correlation.Interpersonal trust and emotional neglect, body ignored, emotional and physical abuse,domestic violence have significant negative correlation;and family relationships, love, friendships have significant positive correlation.The total scores of competitive attitudes and childhood experiences have no significant correlation.(6)Childhood experiences have significant negative prediction effect on hyper-competitiveness attitudes,and have significant positive prediction effect on interpersonal trust;Love and friendship have significant positive prediction effect on personal development competitiveness attitudes;hyper-competitiveness attitudes has a negative effect on interpersonal trust, and personal development competitiveness attitudes has a positive role to interpersonal trust.(7)Competitive relation would be significantly enhanced competitive attitudes and lessen the interpersonal trust,trust repair level also lower.Trust violation would be significantly enhanced competitive attitudes,competitive attitudes also significantly affect trust repair.
