Religious Poetics Qualities In Bulgakov’s Novel

With the the continuous heat of research about Bulgakov, his works are interpreted with wider perspectives. Besides satires of daily-life virtue, Bulgakov’s novels also involves his exploration about religious issues. Artistic characteristics and ideological content tend to be separated while they should be be combined in order to have insight into Bulgakov’s psychological trait, as the author believes.Mutual promotion of farce and carnival, complementation of character and narrative in the presentation of writer’s religious complex, application of grotesqueness, construction of Utopia dreamland and exploration of character’s religious prototype are to be the pointcut and ultimate goal of close reading.Composed of four chapters, this paper holds a step-by-step discussion on Bulgakov’s religious complex from the perspective of poetics. During the analysis of poetics means, this paper compares poetics with other novels with the same poetics qualities and bases its poetics character discrimination on the the Silver Age Russian Literature. While looking up other materials,the author questions some of the researchers and proves her own points. As well as interpreting the poetics qualities, this paper also searches and rebuilds Bulgakov’s thought of debris. The author notices that the religious sentiment throughout Bulgakov’s works makes his novels full of divinity brilliance, and Bulgakov’s attempts to break the old world and build up a new relationship between individuals and the world, form the moral realm to the field of religion. So in order to dissect the huge frame of religious thought through the poetics texture, form and content should be united as one unite during the text analysis.
