| Feminist film criticism,as an important method of film criticism, has been gradually emphasized and widely used China in recent years. This paper analyzes the Chinese feminist film criticism during the recent period from 2009 to 2013. Based on extensive literature review, this paper summarizes three main topics of these five-year feminist film criticism in China: female image, gender consciousness, and feminist expression. It discovers that female image analyses are mainly based on psychoanalysis, ideology and sociology; that gender consciousness analyses are guided by female consciousness and social sex consciousness; and that feminist expression analyses are focused on expression of female voices, female writing, female narrative, and dilemma of feminist expression. Besides, a few new perspective of feminist film criticism have emerged, such as eco feminist film criticism and aesthetic feminist film criticism. |
