The Research Of Sheng Qiu Ci

Ci poetry stems from the Tang Dynasty, and has a great development during the Song Dynasty. With the turbulent social reality and the development of Ci poetry itself, the Ci poetry has enlarged its scope by composer of poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty. Lv Weilao,as a quite important composer of poetry in this period, though his contents was narrow and limited as usual, his state of mind and creations were still changed unavoidably.Lv Weilao’s Ci poetry was not very famous in the Song Dynasty, however, Zhao Shixiu(a noted poet in the Southern Song Dynasty) spoke highly of his creations by saying that some of his works are just as good as Zhou Bangyan and Liu Yong(two outstanding composers of poetry) and Yang Shen, another celebrate in the Ming Dynastry, also think some of Lv’s good Ci are comparable with Qin Shaoyou, whereas nowadays, most of the studies about Lv Weilao and his Sheng Qiu Ci are included in the group studies, he himself did not obtain sufficient attention.This thesis was divided into three parts. Chapter one is the general introduction of Lv Weilao and his Sheng Qiu Ci, in which elaborates his friends and the editions of his creation.Chapter two is the study on contents of Sheng Qiu Ci, which was classified into four small parts--the creation about love, the creation about feelings, the creation about friends and the creation about festival. the last chapter analyses how the characters of Sheng Qiu Ci was formed, from the using of stories, the using of words and the using of the tune.
