As the only film movement of recently ten years in Europe, Romania new cinema has appearanced in the international film festival frequently, and received a high evaluation. However, unlike the international film critics’ view. Romanian film workers deny the concept of Romanian new wave as they don’t have any constant creative organization nor do they have the same arts principle. Until the year of 2013, ‘child pose’ won the Golden Bear of 63 th Berlin Film Festival and inherit the influence of the "Romania new wave" in the International Film Festivals.The success of new Romanian cinema has been regard as inevitable product of European integration’s requirement and is conform to the image of Eastern Europe. In addition, the phenomenon of Romanian new wave also has its intrinsic artistic inheritance and innovation. This paper aims to analysze the characteristic of new Romania cinema by combining its background including history,economic and cultural. Through the work above, we will summarize the similarities among the new cinemas.
