Wolfgang Laib was born in Germany in 1950.He looks like a monk, who’s a German conceptual artist working predominantly with natural materials. The German artists gave up medicine in the 70’s of the last century, to devote himself to his art creation. He is sensitive to material, works with natural materials like milk, pollen, beeswax, meters and marble as his choice. The main content of this paper through the research on interpretation and analysis in the context of contemporary art works of Wolfgang Laib, his works form, content, meaning and so on, and for the valuable spirit connotation of his works.The article begins with overview of inspira tion, purpose and the research status of the topic.
