Ecological Development Mode For Traditional Villages In Shaanxi Province And Relevant Suggestions

Traditional villages are the continuation of human settlements as well as the essence of Chinese architectural culture, and have abundant historical value and unique cultural value. They not only carry the traditional Chinese culture, but also represent the memory of civilization development. In the process of urbanization and new rural construction, the economic center has shifted from agriculture to industry. As the carrier of agricultural civilization and traditional culture, the development of traditional villages is of vital importance. In recent years, when promoting the protection and development of traditional villages, the phenomenon that "thousands of villages share the same development mode" occurred, and a lot of problems came into being, such as single development mode, destroyed ecological environment, extensive economic development, backward social governance, loose social organization and low production capacity of peasants. Therefore, how to protect ecological environment, develop village economy and improve the level of social governance while protecting traditional cultural heritages has become a urgent problem to be solved. It is very important to construct a comprehensive ecological development mode.Starting from the practical background and theoretical research of protection and development of traditional villages, this paper presents the significance of ecological development to traditional villages; Based on field investigation on some traditional villages(such as Dangjiacun in Hancheng City, Yangjiagou in Mizhi County, Ziyang in Ankang City, Pingli, Xunyang, Shiquan and Zhaojin Ancient Town in Tongchuan City) in Shaanxi Province, according to the results of questionnaire survey and interview, the author summarizes the distribution situation and ecological development status of traditional villages in this province as well as existing problems. according to stakeholder analysis, the author determines the stakeholders in the ecological development process of traditional villages in Shaanxi Province; On the basis of the development economist Sanjaya Lall’s Incentive Effectiveness Hypothesis, the author puts forward that suggestions for constructing the ecological development mode for traditional villages should be offered for stakeholders from the perspectives of recognition, incentive, institution, organization and capability. Combined with domestic and foreign development experience, based on industry-oriented principle, the ecological development modes of traditional villages in Shaanxi Province are constructed as rural eco-tourism mode, leisure eco-agriculture mode and ecological industrial park mode. Based on these modes, the author finds some models from these traditional villages and identifies the restriction factors and development advantages of these modes to offer a reference for the development of other traditional villages in Shaanxi Province in which these modes also apply.The innovation of this article is the combination of protection and ecological development of traditional village in Shanxi Province to break the traditional mode of developing tourism in village and highlight the role of agriculture and industry, traditional development mode of ecological village construction in Shaanxi province. It can make up for the deficiency of the related research.
