Black and white woodcut printmaking is an important category in Chinese print type, and has a long history. Contemporary black-and-white woodcut creation along with the development of The Times, the progress of science and technology in all aspects are also constantly developing and changing. Compared with a national art works exhibition in China committeeman of one of the most continuity and profound influence of exhibition brand, from various aspects can also show the state of the contemporary black-and-white woodcut printmaking creation. Presented the prints in the exhibition of rich and colorful appearance in different era, in particular the nearly three version of the exhibition is to show the elegant demeanour of contemporary Chinese engravings.
