The Chinese-English Comparative Study About The Chinese Zodiac Word And Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

Chinese zodiac is a part of Chinese traditional culture and Chinese life password. It was born long and profound, reflects the Chinese unique thinking and cultural complex. The twelve zodiac is internalized in the Chinese language. Learning the twelve zodiac words not only can understand Chinese traditional culture, but also is a key for Chinese learners to communicate with Chinese people. Therefore, basing on the twelve animal words in Chinese and English on the results of comparative study, the theory of teaching as a second language in the application of Chinese, and the existing student teaching material analysis, put forward the teaching Chinese as a foreign language teaching strategies and teaching scheme.This thesis is divided into four parts to discuss the Chinese-English comparative study about the Chinese Zodiac word and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. From four aspects-twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, Zodiac words classification analysis of contrastive analysis between English and Chinese, students in the Chinese text of twelve words and twelve Chinese Zodiac, Zodiac words teaching strategies, it discusses the twelve animal words and teaching status of the twelve zodiac words, and dose a detailed classification, analysis and comparison of the twelve Chinese Zodiac words. Taking the Developing Chinese (Second Edition) as an example, it analyzes the existing textbooks for foreign students and puts forward some teaching strategies.Through the writing of this article, I hope to attract enough attention of The Chinese zodiac words teaching, and teach the wonderful part in Chinese culture to foreign students truly. And I wish that teaching Chinese as a foreign language becomes an important part of Chinese culture to the world.
