We know that it is very important to learn a language and understand the cultural background that is relevant to it.Chinese classical poetry is a treasure trove of Chinese culture,both in artistry,image,or in music,has a unique charm,it is a bright pearl in Chinese literature,has a very rich cultural connotations.Foreign students learn Chinese classical poetry,not only can promote language learning,training their pronunciation,vocabulary,training their Chinese language sense and rhythm,more conducive to their understanding of Chinese culture and the Chinese people's mental outlook,at the same time to stimulate students ' interest in learning also greatly help.While the imagery in poetry is the essence of Chinese classical poetry,the Study of Chinese classical poetry through the method of image contrast can help foreign students to understand more deeply the emotions expressed in Chinese classical poetry,so that they can understand Chinese culture more deeply.However,in the current teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of imagery does not arouse enough attention,and the relevant research and nonporous is not enough,in this paper,the author puts forward the teaching of Chinese classical poetry to the foreign students through the contrast of the imagery of the English poetry.This article contains five main parts:the first part is the introduction,mainly introduced the purpose and significance of the topic,the existing research results and deficiencies,and introduced the scope of the study and ideas;the second part analyses the imagery of Chinese and English poetry from the three images of time image,space image and weather image.The third part is the method of image contrast in the teaching of Chinese classical poetry.The Forth part is the case design of the concrete application of the method of image contrast in teaching Chinese as a foreign language;The fifth part concludes with a summary of the research value and deficiencies of this paper,and puts forward the expectation for the future.
