Research On Traditional Revival And Carving Under The Background Of National Tourism

In recent years,the impact that ethnic cultural tourism have on the ethnic areas andspecific villages is not only a hot topic but also with much controversy inacademia.However, under the background of ethnic tourism,less attention has been paidon the issue about the changes that occurred on the culture of the ethnic minorityvillages.Based on this,the paper will take the villages which lies in Qindongnan area ofGuizhou as the study sites,just like Xijiang,Langdeshangzhai,Basha.Then the paper willfocus on the description and analysis of morphological changes appeared on the ethnicculture after a summary about the development situation of the above villages,especiallythe temporal and spatial morphology and overlapping phenomena.And it means that therevival of the traditional cultural patterns and it also proves the inscribed situationtowards tradition and modern.Then based on this,a certain analysis about the dynamicfactor of its occurrence will be discussed.In July2011,the research team had a field work in the ethnic villages with betterethnic tourism development which lies in Qiandongnan area. And we have foundthat:First,with the deep development of the ethnic cultural tourism and the carrying of avariety modern factors,ethnic cultural villages has a big change.It presents the space-timecomposite of cultural patterns instead of the local,authentic cultural patterns withone-dimension.In terms of the morphology,it can be generalized as that the revival oftraditional cultural patterns and the inscribed situation towards tradition and modernbased on the imagination.Second, the reason why the current ethnic villages showing acomplex or hydrid spatial form is the result of a multi-subject “horizon”,and the otherreason which often been overlooked is the repair that the tourists from modern cities haveon the risk perception-“we are afraid”.Third,do not be blindly indulging in the pursuit ofimagination of the traditional values and the authentic"the embodiment of beauty".We should respect the current state of the cultural changes and the social cultural status.Andwe also should not just imagine and carve the living and cultural tradition of the ethnicminority outside the modern city or simply judge the ethnic tradition with the standardsof modern society...
