Symmetry is a universal natural phenomenon, widely present in human social life. Symmetry thought is well known and commonly used in human cognitive approach, has a profound impact on all aspects of human life, has the extremely high status in many fields. Language is the carrier of thinking, the tool of human communication, is also affected by symmetry. Since the philosophy of the ancients use contradictory understanding of the world, is advocating something symmetry and apply symmetry thought in many fields, Chinese also by its impact on multiple language levels exhibit symmetrical features. At the same time, because the monosyllabic morphemes of Chinese characteristics are flexible, easy combination pairs makes the symmetric characteristics of Chinese spread widely. Our laboratory focused on exploring questions about grammar in Chinese by Mr. Chen Yinque in theory of Chinese exam with Liu Shuya, pointed out the Chinese symmetrical features, and conduct in-depth research, combined with natural language processing technology, trying to provide help for the establishment of Chinese grammar, provide theoretical support for Chinese natural language processing. This paper describes in detail the symmetry phenomenon in Chinese, and the symmetrical phenomenon of word, words and expressions and sentence in three different language structure units are analyzed, and points out their forms, characteristics and causes. And describes the characteristics of very symmetrical in Chinese couplet, pointed out between the first line Chinese couplet and the second line Chinese couplet words are equal, corresponding to the part of speech and the category should be the same, pay attention to the word pingze, phonological tone, harmony. According to different writing methods of Chinese couplet classification, points out the characteristics of each category. Using the theory of cognitive linguistics, analyzes the cognitive process and characteristics of Chinese couplet. According to conceptual blending theory, two parts of Chinese couplet as two input spaces, between the interior space and the space formed complex mapping networks, application characteristics of generic space to test when the two space synthesis, complete understanding process of Chinese couplet. In addition, analyzes the characteristics of Chinese couplet shown in cognitive process, highlighting the double objects in the form and meaning. Need to establish maximum correlation with context when analysis Chinese couplet. In different cognitive stages shows different aesthetic effect, to achieve a comprehensive study of Chinese couplet.Chinese couplet by completing the analysis of cognitive processes, combined with the symmetry of the couplet, this paper adopts the strict rules of "Li Weng Dui Yun" as a corpus, and on the basis to implement procedures. boundaries exist only words without word boundaries, Chinese word segmentation has become a problem of Chinese Natural Language Processing. In this paper, the three word segmentation methods of now more widely used and mature are introduced and compared, Combining with Chinese couplet and "Li Weng Dui Yun" quite a lot of words with symmetric characteristics, selecting the positive maximum matching word segmentation method to realize word segmentation of Chinese couplet. Corpus of the words offers a variety of symmetric words for word segmentation results to choose from, according to the language meaning and context, we can choose the best combination of symmetric words, to complete the Natural language understanding and generation. This is research of Chinese symmetry characteristics, An exploration to realization of the process by using the principle of symmetry, there is a huge space of theory and technology needs further expansion.
