The Discourse Studies Of Diors In The View Of Network Subculture

With the advent of the Internet age, a variety of network subcultures are produced. They impact on people’s lives, and even become part of the living world. Among them, Diors, the representative network subculture form, with its rapid development and broad influence caused the social concern. It is necessary to be engaged in the study of Diors, which has important realistic and theoretical significances. In reality, it helps to grasp the idea of the youth group, to understand their development and the contemplation of real life offline. On the theoretical side, it conforms to the cultural turn and the research trend of discipline integration. The study of Diors network subculture not only provides a vision for the communication studies, at the same time, by means of the communication theory and discourse analysis, it will make cultural studies have an advancement.In this paper, through literature method, text analysis and critical discourse analysis, it tries to solve three main research questions: what is the network subculture of Diors, the conversion of the meaning style of Diors and the reasons for the formation of the network subculture in social and cultural.With the literature method, it learns to sort out the concept of the network subculture and the meaning of the network subculture of Diors. And using the text analysis to the representative text of Diors in three different developing periods, it attempts to find the connotation of Diors and the changement in style. For giving it a value judgment and seeking out the social and culture causes, this paper adopted the critical discourse analysis.Through these methods, it finds that it had a highlight on the style of marginality in the formation, and with its development into the outbreak, the resistance combined with entertainment in style held the dominant position. As time goes on, the network subculture of Diors faced the same fate with traditional subculture, encountered the incorporation in business and media.Diors also has its profound social and culture source, including the expanding gap between rich and poor, judgment bias in personal value and the influence of media discourse. And on one hand, it is the resistance to the power; on the other hand, itself is also a kind of power which trends to network language violence. At the same time, the emergence of Diors, to a great extent, also with the rise of consumer culture in the process of development of market economy. Through a series of discourse, Diors obeys and constructs the consumption, especially the consumption of the body, and shows the alienation in the consumer society.
