Reduplication is used as an abstract grammatical means universally in Chinese which is also used in Qingxu dialect. This article describes and analyses the form of reduplication, grammatical functions, semantic features and pronunciation in Qingxu dialect from the right angle of grammar. This paper was divided into six chapters.First of all, this article introduces the Qingxu dialect research history and the present status, the traditional research mainly by describe speech primarily, but we from the perspective of grammar, to supplement the pure description speech inadequate. In addition to, we describe the article research ideas, methods and research meaning briefly. From the second chapter to the fifth chapter describe the "nouns reduplication", "verbal reduplication", "adjective reduplication", "quantifier reduplication" and "numeral reduplication". Besides, the dissertation also makes comparisons between reduplication used in Qingxu dialect with its usage in Mandarin. The chapters are dedicated to the description, analysis and study of the word formation, semantic features, and grammatical function. From the word formation, the article lists common formation, and describes them respectively. From the semantic features, nominal reduplication mainly manifested in such points, small says nickname; verbal reduplication mainly manifested in the mount of grade and color meaning; adjective reduplication mainly indicate the deepening or weakening in degree and color meaning; reduplicated quantifiers mainly mean "every one"; numeral reduplications largely indicate special point and general number. From the grammatical functions, this article describe that whether they have modified and been modified function, whether they can be composition in the sentence, and what composition they can do. This article mainly compares featured reduplication and corresponding word formation in Mandarin, and analyses the differences between them, indicating their special function and meaning. In the end, we conclusion:the reduplication of Qingxu dialect has diversified formation, rich semantics and all-round function. The sixth chapter mainly describes pronunciation of overlapped words. This chapter includes two sectors. The first sector mainly describes the vowels and tone changed of overlapped words in Qingxu dialect, and briefly explains how this phenomenon forms. We hold that in Qingxu dialect, some initial syllable will have vowels changed after dissyllabic overlapped. Vowels changed happen when the initial syllable have a main vowel of [ε],low vowel of [(?)][a][(?)] and central vowel of [(?)][(?)] as its main vowel. Vowels changed will not occur when the initial syllable have a sub-closed vowel of [γ] or a high vowel of [i][u][y]or a apical vowel of [(?)] as its main vowel, however, situation changes among different ages. The same time, vowels changed influence tone changed. The Vowels changed of overlapped words in Qingxu Dialect is a tone form because of dissimilation. And this dissimilation phenomenon connects with common vowels-raising in Bingzhou. The second sector mainly describes rhyme feature of overlapped words in Qingxu dialect, which is different from other surrounding districts. This provides the evidence of dialect for theories of prosodic templates and syllable sound order. We conclude that in overlapped syllable, no vowels changed belong to pure overlapping; vowels changed belong to sound-changed overlapping, both of them are accord with theories of prosodic templates and syllable sound order. Whether vowels change is associated with high vowel, there is no evident relationship with initial and tone. The ending concludes that compared with Mandarin, word formation, semantic features and grammatical functions of Qingxu reduplication are more distinctive, especially the pronunciation of overlapped words is different from other districts although they belong to the same dialect district.
