Chinese Micro-Film In The Context Of Post-modernism

Micro-film is an emerging type of film. It caters to the demands of audiences who can only spend the "fragmentation" time entertaining, and of enterprises influenced by "TV commercials ban" badly in need of new ad-releasing platforms. Creation models of micro - movie including "grass-roots" self-timer, corporate customization and professional team begin to take shape. Among the three creation models, corporate customization is relatively mature, but all promote the rapid development of micro-movies.Micro-film prototype was formed in 2005. At that time, the influence of postmodernism was already deep into all areas, of course, micro-film also involuntarily carried with marks of postmodernism. Hence, I put Chinese micro-film in the context of post-modernism with the perspective of film audio-visual language as starting point, the visual elements— the shot size, the relationship of sound-picture and the movements of camera and the audio elements—subtitle, music and audio as breakthrough point to analyze the sensory stimulation and entertainment presented by the audio-visual language of Chinese micro-film in the context of postmodernism. Meanwhile, by combining the narrative strategies of deconstruction and parody with actual cases I analyze the features of subverting classics and dispelling authority presented by Chinese micro-movie in the context of postmodernism. Finally I study the current features of Chinese micro-film in the context of postmodernism, that is, the style of comedy and rebellious writing, and make a deep analysis combining with specific cases.In this paper, after defining the concept of micro-movie, I analyzes the background and tease the development course of micro-film. In addition, when I analyze the development status of the micro-film in China, I find it has plenty of disadvantages. Therefore, combining the advantages of forefathers with my deep study, I propose resolution strategies for the advantages. Meanwhile, for the future development of micro-film in China I bring forward some dilettante opinions. In order to promote the healthily development of Chinese Micro-film.
