| The essay mainly focus on the concept “Life Buddhism” which be put forward by Master Jing Hui.It is investigating from Life Buddhism’s purpose, definitions,characteristics of zen method, combining with the basic theory of the "heart".And hold a discussion on the role of the Life Buddhism in the heart purification and great significance produced.This essay composed by two parts: the introduction text and the main text. Mainly including the reason why choose this topic, the basis for the thesis, the literature review and the innovation.The main text includes 4 parts: Life Buddhism system,basic theory of the "heart",the form of practice, and the significance.Based on my own experience and interests, combined with thinking of modern life, I hope provide a healthy way of life for modern people.The first part introduces Life Buddhism system.It really reflects earthly Buddhism, is a modern interpretation of the founder of Zen. It emphasizes "practice in life, to live in practice" and break the boundaries of practice and life.In the second part,it analyzes the necessity of heart purification and its theoretical basis which includes theory of origin, theory of heart’s structure,self clean theory, theory of insight.The third part discusses the main practices of Life Buddhism.The Summer Camp of Life Buddhism offers an opportunity for young people to experience the Zen’s way of life, and set up a bridge between these young people and Zen’s Buddhism, this changes the traditional Buddhist idea which is passive and it leaves people a positive impression..In the last part, comments on the significance of Life Buddhism in nowadays will be presented. |
