In this article,reviewed views about "parental conflict" and “ teenage self-harm ” from domestic and foreign reseach.Based on predecessors’ theories and studies, we take adolescents in our country as the reseach object, and analyzed current situation about patental conflict and teenage self-harm. We do this to figure out the relation between patental conflict and teenage self-harm, and build the modle how the patental conflict affects the teenage self-harm.Methods: This study used questionnaire method to collect datas of teenage self-harm, teenage consciousness of patental conflict and emotional security.By using the method of cluster sampling,we sent out 2800 questionnaires in YuanJiang city and XiangXiang city of HuNan province,China. We used <Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory> and <security in the interparental subsystem scale> and <the childen’s perception of interparental conflict scale>.Results:(1) the incidence of teenage self-harm up to41.5%; There is evident differences in the score of teenageself-harm level between different types of school(t=-2.135,p<0.05);there is distinct difference on six-grade students in the score of teenage self-harm level(F=2.429,p<0.05);(2)the relations among Parental Conflict, adolescent self-injurious behavior, emotional security are significant.(3) the intensity and the solution situation of conflict between parents have positive predict ability to teenage self-harm behaviour.(4)emotional security was a positive predictor to teenage self-harm behaviour.(5)besides direct effect on self-harm,parental conflict level on teenage self-harm by the mediation role of emotional security.Conclusion:Attention must be paid to the higher incidence of teenage self-harm behavior in our coutry. Teenagers,study in normal school,have higher self-harm level than teenagers who study in key school;Grade 7 students got higher self-harm level than other grades students;The only child got higher self-harm level than non-only child;Parental conflict,emotioal security, teenage self-harm behavior are related;Perceived parents level conflict positively predict adolescent mood insecurity; Youth’s view of conflict mood insecurity significantly positively predict the self-injury behavior; Youth’s view of conflict mood insecurity in parentsand self-injury behavior plays a role of intermediary between conflict level.
