Foreign Students’adverb acquisition has been a difficulty in learning Chinese. However, at this stage most of the studies of Chinese adverb is based on the form, the main emphasis of their research is to explore the effects of different sentence structure to Chinese adverb’s acquisition.Compared to this,the research based on the semantic are much less. In this paper, based on the comparative study of different semantic categories adverb Acquisition in HSK composition corpus,we choose Object Case adverb as a research object,which is more prone to error in foreign students’Chinese study.The research will investigate the acquisition of Object Case adverb from English and Korean native speakers.In this paper, the main framework is guided by the theory of Case Grammar.Based on the different linguistic meaning in the Object Case adverb, the paper divides the Chinese Object Case adverb into four semantic category:targeted object, concerned object, collaborative target and comparative object. This four types of Object Case adverb provide a framework for the analysis of adverb in Chinese, English and Korean. Based on the contrastive analysis,the thesis will also predict the different developmental sequences for English and Korean native speakers in the learning of Chinese Object Case adverb. Finally, the prediction of developmental sequences will be verified by way of empirical research. In addition, the paper also compare the factors may affect the second language learners’learning,so that we can find the most influential factor in the second language acquisition.In this paper, the main structure is divided into three parts:introduction, text,and conclusion.Introduction. In this section we introduce the topic of the article and define the scope of the topic in the article.It will also introduce the article related to the theoretical background, as well as the methods being used in the research.The text is divided into three chapters:Chapter one is the comparative analysis of Object Case adverb in Chinese,Korean and English. This article will analysis the Object Case adverb in three languages by contrast the adverbial Case structure, location and number.Based on the study of this chapter,we can found that:(1) on the constituent components of Object Case adverb,English and Chinese is the same,both of them are composed of preposition,but Korean is different from them,which is made up of auxiliary word;(2) on the location of Object Case adverb,Chinese and Korean is same in prior alignment of their external location,both of them are"sentence-initial> the middle of sentence> sentence final ",which English contrasts with them,is "sentence final> the middle of sentence> sentence-initial";however,English and Chinese is same on the location of case-mark.they are ordered like"case-mark+object",and Korean is different from them,which is ordered like"object+case-mark".(3) And on the number of case-mark in this three different language, there are 25 common case-marks in Chinese,23 in English and there are only 16 in Korean.Chapter two is about the difficulty levels prediction and how to make the questionnaires. Based on the comparative study of the Chapter one, this chapter will try to find the difficulty that foreign students meet in their Chinese studying. This section mainly divide into two aspects:the difficulty level that English native speakers may exist,and the difficulty level that Korean native speakers may exist in learning Chinese Object Case adverb.And the study is mainly guided by Ekman’s "Markedness Differential Hypothesis" and C.Practor’s "Model of difficulty degree".By the study/we found that English native speaker may acquisition Chinese Object Case adverb in such a development sequence:comparative object> collaborative object> targeted object> concerned object; while Korean native speaker students may follow the development sequence like this:targeted object= collaborative object> concerned object> comparative object. This chapter also introduce the subjects, design principles, the details of this questionnaires.Chapter three is about the analysis about the data obtained by questionnaire.This section compare the factors that may affect students’Acquisition of Object Case adverb in groups from the mother tongue, gender, and language proficiency three dimensions.The survey found that:(1) the mother tongue have no significant effect on the four types of Chinese Object Case adverb’s acquisition for foreign students in the whole, but it have certain relevance with the acquisition condition between four types of Chinese Object Case adverb. (2) the gender has little effect on students’second language acquisition. (3) Chinese proficiency is an important factor in students’ second language acquisition.based on this, the article also bias case of second language learners appear in the language tests for the statistics, statistics show that:(1) The second language learners will be influenced by Chinese other sentence patterns in their learning of Chinese Object Case adverb. (2) On the whole, the English native speakers is more easily impacted by language transfer compared to Korean native speakers.The Conclusion. This section summarizes the research conclusions and at the end of the paper, some teaching suggestions and further researches are proposed for better teaching.
