In this thesis, acquisitions of subject-case preposition, object-case preposition and adjacency-case preposition are explored, based on the material collected from the investigation of some children .The children are from one to five .The three categories are divided into ten small categories. The thesis describes their developing processes more comprehensively from the following aspects: function of its composing and making sentences and semantic function. From these bases, the thesis discusses the following related issues : the first one is the psychology and language foundation of children's acquiring the prepositions; the second one is the analysis of the mechanism and the concret modes(such as addition, replacement and syntactic assimilation);the third one is the sequence of the semantic elements of the prepositional objects and its complex forming reasons; the forth one is the complicated relation between grammaticalization of Chinese and the sequence of the acquisition of preposition and the related parts of speech. The thesis points out that they are different processes for children's acquiring preposition is controlled by the three other factors: the inputting frequency of language; the difficulty of children's understanding semantic meaning of the words ; the function of the words.
