The abusive language has been in our life since the ancient time. In the 21st century, with popularization of network, it is popular in the mainstream media. This research discussed the characteristics, usages, trend, and the canonical of new Chinese abusive language.We collected the lexical corpus materials from the BBS, new cyber language dictionary, annual popular words released by Yaowenjiaozi, annual new media words released by Reports on Chinsese language life, and example sentences from cyber news, People’s Daily, and audio media words corpus.Emerging abusive language mainly has two kinds of sources. One kind is completely new abusive language; another kind is the transform of traditional one.We conducted a survey on the usage frequency and its diachronic fluctuation in the media, under the assistance of the Baidu pop.There are two opposite semantic changes of new Chinese abusive language, combined with a study of abusive language in the classic Chinese and dialects.In this paper, through the collection of the abusive language in the mainstream media, the research did the static description and analysis. With the popularization of the Internet and the diversification of writing materials, the abusive language was becoming more colorful. The network of convenience also accelerated the upgrading of the abusive language. Due to supervision, the abusive language had to use indirect policies to generate new expression, which led to the popularity of new abusive language. We need to accept it.
