Study On Chinese And Vietnamese Abusive Language

The abusive words is a special language phenomenon.It exists in various languages of all countries and nationalities in the world.Therefore,abusive words is an important and n indispensable part of human language.Abusive words carries not only linguistic information,but also people's emotional expression.It can also dialyze a nation's cultural psychology and value orientation.There are also many people who study abusive words,but so far,there is only one author(Pham Minh Tam,2013),in her master's thesis comparing Chinese slander with Vietnamese slander,but the author has not made a thorough study of slander yet;she just made a brief introduction on it,and mainly wrote about Chinese slander.Although there are few studies on Vietnamese abusive words,the results of previous studies on Chinese and Vietnamese idioms are the theoretical basis,which makes the author firmly believe that the topic of "A Comparative Study of Chinese and Vietnamese Abusive Languages" can continue to develop and extend.The world is becoming more and more connected.China is becoming increasingly influenced in the world,and more foreigners are learning Chinese.Chinese students studying Vietnamese in Vietnam are becoming more and more popular,which shows that both Chinese and Vietnamese are very important.As a special language of the two languages,Chinese abusive words and Vietnamese abusive words are more curious and desirable to understand them in depth.Because Chinese and Vietnamese abusive words is unavoidable in both daily life and literary works,the author wants to do further study on the abusive words in these two languages,so as to know the joy,anger and sadness in people's hearts.We all know that China and Vietnam are geographical neighbors,and all have experienced many difficulties in the whole long history from agricultural production to today's modernization.They have solved the problem of food and clothing step by step and moved towards a well-off society.With the improvement of material living standards,spiritual life and social level have also improved.China and Vietnam have a long history and are both civilized and courteous countries.Being regarded as ungraceful and elegant,abusive language has always been disdained by the implicit and rational Chinese people.However,as an objective linguistic image,abusive language directly reflects the joys,sorrows and values of the Chinese and Vietnamese people.At the same time,Vietnam and China are neighbors.And Vietnam is deeply influenced by Chinese customs and life cultures.Therefore,in the daily life of using abusive language,China and Vietnam have similar aspects and also have different places.This paper mainly makes a comparative study on the classification,structure,function,rhetoric and cultural similarities and differences on abusive language between Chinese and Vietnamese,and through the comparative study of abusive language between Chinese and Vietnamese,provides some valuable materials,clues and ideas to reveal the characteristics and values of Chinese and Vietnamese traditional culture.
