Wang Zengqi’s Novels Creation Under The Influence Of Jiangnan Culture

This paper explores Wang Zengqi’s works from the perspective of Jiangnan Culture, breaking the tradition of exploring it from the Chinese traditional angel, also not focusing on the interaction between Wang Zengqi and literary current and literary genre. This dissertation unearths the influence of Jiangnan Culture on Wang’s novel on the basis of the predecessor’s theoretical research and the sentiment of the text. The Jiangnan Culture owns a long history. Although it vicissitudes, it still has multiple mental connotation.This dissertation analyzed the influence of Jiangnan Culture start with the central poetics of aesthetical spirit, exploring the influence of Jiangnan Culture’s poetic spirit on his works from four aspects: the pursuit of Subject Spirit’s Freedom, the existence wisdom of balancing inner heart and reality, the pursuit of funny life and the art exploration of literature poetics.The first part: the author analyzes the natural scenery of Jiangnan in aesthetical angel so as to obtain the spiritual freedom.The second part states Wang learn to explore the beauty of life when he was in trouble. Under the inspiration of the water of Jiangnan, Wang began to think about life and to try to find the way to reach a harmonious life.During this process, Wang found the connection point to the previous Jiangnan literature scholars. He extended the existence wisdom ofbalancing inner heart and reality.The third part analyzes the extending and development of Wang’s work to the Jinangnan literature scholar’s pursuit of funny life. With the vicissitude of times and his frustrate experiences, Wang brought his understanding of things to the perception of the affairs of daily life. During the discussion of daily affairs, he turns funny to derision. Combined with the pity on the masses, Wang develops banters on the basis of compassion.The fourth part mainly discussed Wang’s artistic pursuit of literature poetics. He was not only influenced by Jiangnan’s poetry literature but also his artistic exploration of literature poetics. Through the above research, it is easy for us to find that it is an interaction relationship between Jiangnan culture and Wang Zengqi. This paper particularly explores the coherent point between them and deeply analyzes the author’s completion of the spirit of Jiangnan Culture because of the difference of times and personal fortunes. This dissertation provides beneficial exploration to the research of Wang Zengqi and Jiangnan Culture. And it also enriches the connotation of poetic spirit of Jiangnan Culture in changing times.
