Study On The Protection Of Traditional Papermaking Technique In Zhejiang Province

With the continuous development of social economy and science and technology, mechanical paper began to impact handmade paper. Because of the long period, low economic efficiency and difficult working conditions, today’s youth do not want to engage in traditional papermaking industry, so traditional papermaking technology in China is on the verge of extinction.As the Zhejiang region handmade paper has a long history, which preserved traditional paper types is relatively complete. The origin of the paper in all directions throughout Zhejiang, therefore the system can reflect the overall situation in Zhejiang Province, which witnessed the rise and decline of the historical process of prosperity until to this end. So I chose the conservation status of the Zhejiang region of handmade paper as a starting point to explore.Through field investigation, the author summarizes the survival status of the five traditional papermaking technology, after a preliminary analysis of their respective characteristics, there are three selected reference model. I use SWOT model to analysis their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and combine with foreign non-material culture Heritage experience, for finding the problems that exist in Zhejiang province. On specific issues, I propose the protection strategy to promote the heritage and development of traditional papermaking technology. On this basis, I sum up the traditional papermaking technology protection strategy for the national reference.
