China is an ancient civilization with a long history, and so far,China has left countlessly cultural heritage, among which there are about more than three hundred thousand ancient poetries. As an unique part of Chinese art songs,poems singing plays a very important role in the study of modern national vocal music.Do the research on poems singing taking four poems of Li Yu,in "left pieces of gold" which is from Qing Dynasty Music, who was living in Southern Tang Dynasty, as the research objects.This paper is divided into three chapters, and the first chapter is divided into two sections. The first section introduces the life and works of Li Yu, and the characteristics of Li Yu’s ci.The second section introduces the works of Qing Dynasty "left pieces of gold", the origin of ci and the form of ci at that time. The second chapter analyzes the backgrounds of Li Yu’s works, and expounds the creation background of the four works in four sections.The third chapter is the emphasis of the paper.There are three sections discussing the style of the works, the processing of each piece, and the whole singing problems what should be paid attention to.In this paper, through the research on the background of author, the background of works creation,the background of collection editors, discusses that how to deal with the works.and what should be paid attention to when singing.Hoping that through the study of singing Li Yu’ci,we can understand Chinese art songs --- ancient poems further,and give other music lovers some clues.
