In this Dissertation using the most matured form of chamber music formation "String Quartet" as a research theme and mainly analysing the function, roll of the second violin part.String Quartet is the most important and formation in chamber music, thesis and articles about Sting Quartet are numerous. This Dissertation is in three chapters:The first chapter summarizes the development of String Quartet and introduces music works from three different periods:Viennese Classicism, the German Romantic Era and 20th Century Music. Second chapter explores the textures, structures and musical images with scores, emphasis are function and rule of second violin part. The third chapter discusses about the musical relationship between second violin and first violin, and their interactions in performing in a quartet. |
