The modern Chinese character "guo" is a dynamic auxiliary word and also a high frequency used function word. The complexity of its grammatical meaning becomes a difficult point in teaching and is easy to be mistakenly used by Thai students in their Chinese language study. Some bias errors such as improperly placing the word "guo", mismatches, the deletion of it and so on could be made in practical use if the students have not grasped the rules of using it.There are scholars doing researches on the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" in aspects such as Synchronic relationship and Diachronic trajectory, grammaticalization research and the application concerning tense and aspect. This essay will analyze the error types and the reasons which Thai students are easily made by comparing the similar expressions and semantics and grammatical structures in Thai language according to the former research results. The essay will firstly analyze the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" according to its choreography in existing TCFL teaching materials and secondly make a teaching design according to the learning characteristics of Thai students.The essay contains four parts:Part one is the introduction. It will illustrate the selecting of the title, research objects, research significances and the research on research review, especially the reviews on the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" and its counterparts in expressions and semantics and grammatical structures in Thai language.Part two will probe into the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" and its counterparts in Thai language from the angle of semantics. It will firstly have an introduction of the Chinese dynamic auxiliary word system and its counterparts in Thai language. Then secondly it will analyze the similarities and differences by introducing the semantic characteristics of the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" and its counterparts in Thai language in details.In part three, the assay will analyze the similarities and differences between the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" and its counterparts in Thai language in their syntactic structural characteristics.In part four, the essay will firstly conclude the types of bias errors in Thai students’ Chinese study and the reasons of making them, and proving appropriate teaching strategies according to the comparing results. Then it will analyze the advantages and disadvantages by studying the arrangement of the dynamic auxiliary word "guo" in modern TCFL and giving suggestions on TCFL compilation. Thirdly, the essay will give out a teaching design which is target-oriented and practical.Part five is the conclusion. It will conclude the research content and the main points in the essay and point out the insufficiencies and the direction of the research in the future.
