The Research On The Translated Literature Of Fu Jen Wen Yuan

In Chinese educational and cultural history, the Chinese Christian universities’ historical status and influence were very significant. Even though the 13 protestant universities and 3 catholic universities have become history in China, their running experience, social influence, subject development and literature contribution are still worth studying. Especially, the universities’ campus publications by teachers and students are very valuable, which were cultural microcosm of society and campus. This paper focuses on Fu Jen Wen Yuan which was Fu Jen Catholic Universities’ pure literature publication, and aims to comb its translated literature’s contents, types, countries and writers. To explore Fu Jen Catholic University and Fu Jen Wen Yuan’s impacts and contributions in the enemy occupied area of North China at that time. What’s more, the end part will further reach translated literature’s significances and contributions in the enemy occupied area of North China.This paper is mainly divided into three parts:The first chapter is about Fu Jen Catholic University and Fu Jen Wen Yuan’s introduction. It will introduce the universities’ history and features. And it will systematically comb and study Fu Jen Wen Yuan’s publication process, purpose, content, characters, influence. Aims to expound Fu Jen Wen Yuan’s historical status and significance.The second chapter is about the study of all translated literatures which were published in Fu Jen Wen Yuan. This part will study the translated literatures’ text characteristics and social influence from three angles of type, feature and contribution under that specific background.The third chapter will study the translated literatures which were published in Fu Jen Wen Yuan’s significance and inadequacies. On the one hand, this part will expound the translated literatures’ contributions and status in the field of translated literatures of enemy-occupied area. And it will also explore the translated literatures effects on literary creation and cultural exchange. On the other hand, the last part will put forward views of the journal’s deficiencies.Lastly, attach all translated literature list of Fu Jen Wen Yuan.
