Rural tourism is a kind of travel activity which using those things formed in the rural area following by the agricultural producer, such as the mode of production, residence, dietary, the rural scenery, nature conditions and so on.Because of the traffic inconvenience in the past, Southern Dong area’s traditional culture has distinctive characteristics. They still preserve the Dong culture symbol of Drum-tower, Dong-song and Wind-rain bridge. Dong-song is a kind of multi-tone choral songs with no command and no accompaniment. What’s more, it’s the most unique in Dong culture. If the Dong-song is nonexistence, the Drum-tower and Wind-rain bridge will also lose the vitality, and the promote of rural tourism in Dong area will be hard. Rural tourism’s development improve the villagers’ income and their life condition, and it makes people aware of the importance of traditional culture. In turn, they learn Dong-song and inherit it. Even so, the Dong-song get some change because of the tourists’ needs, and its own transformation has occurred quietly. This transformation shows up as the role reconstruction of Dong-song, scene reconstruction and leisure reconstruction.The content of this paper is as follows:This essay organizes the theory of rural tourism first. Then, the Dong’s traditional culture, Dong-song and their relationship are analyzed, including the Dong-song’s content, form and the Dong-song’s social function. Next, the author analyzes the relationship between the rural tourism and Dong culture, and display the situation of dong area’s rural tourism and the practice of Dong-song in this process. Finally, the reconstruction of Dong-song culture is analyzed, which contains the role reconstruction, scene reconstruction and leisure reconstruction.
