Research On The Construction Model Of Performing Arts Creative Cultural Industries Gathering Zones In Beijing

Nowadays, culture has played a significant role in a nation’s survival and development. Comparing with other developed countries, the development of cultural and creative industries in China started late. Therefore, we need to pay more attention to the cultural area. Beijing, as China’s political and cultural center, not only has unique historic heritages, but also has a lot of geographical advantages and resources, which attract many talents and creative people around the world. Currently, it is apparently showed that the development of cultural and creative industries gathering areas have become an indispensable trend. Performing arts, as a small branch of culture, which is also moving towards gathering areas. Therefore, how to build a better performing arts creative cultural industries gathering zones is the main purpose of this paper.The whole paper focuses on the construction model of "performing arts and creative cultural industries gathering zones". This paper uses “cultural and creative economic theory”, “cultural clusters theory” and the “growth pole theory” as the theoretical basis for this study. In the second part of this paper, the author analyzes the development situation, industrial layout and characteristics of creative cultural industries in Beijing, and illustrates the current situation and problems that shows in the performing arts and creative cultural industries. In the third part of this paper, the author bases on the theoretical basis, which presents in the second part to analyze the characteristics and situations of cultural industries development in the USA and Britain. These development models and methods will provide a guidance for the development of cultural industries gathering zones in Beijing.In the fourth part of this paper, the author creates the city planning layouts and performing arts cultural industries gathering zones’ business model, which is the core of this study. Hope this paper could provide some recommendations for Beijing performing arts development.
