Research On Cultural Industry Agglomeration In Jiangsu Province

With the transformation and upgrading of Chinese economy,the cultural industry has got rapid development in many provinces and the cultural industry presents the development trend of agglomeration.Because the cultural industry has the characteristic of strong correlation with other industries, the development model of agglomeration will maximize the efficiency of the utilization of the resource. Jiangsu province is located in the eastern coastal areas of China and it is adjacent to the Yangtze river delta.It has rich history,geography and natural resources. But the development of cultural industry of Jiangsu province was started very late, the resources have not been efficiently used.In 2013 the government of Jiangsu Province issued the "twelfth five-year" planning of the development of culture industry, the "planning" put forward to realizing the goal that the cultural industry will be a leading industry in the 20 s of this century. This shows that the cultural industry agglomeration has become the key factor which influences the economic development of Jiangsu Province, so the study of the cultural industry agglomeration in Jiangsu province is very necessary and valuable now.In this paper, the writer writes the paper according to the order that what is culture industry agglomeration, why should we develop the agglomeration of cultural industry, how to measure the level of cultural industry agglomeration of Jiangsu Province and the suggestions of how to enhance the level of cultural industry agglomeration. This paper firstly introduces the related concepts and literature reviews.Then summarizes the present situation of the cultural industry of Jiangsu province and the mechanism of cultural industry agglomeration. Then this paper used the location entropy to measure the level of cultural industry agglomeration and made horizontal and vertical comparison. Then use "nine elements" model and "ser-M" model to find the stage which cultural industry agglomeration of Jiangsu province is staying and the competitive advantage of it. Then this article constructs the index system of influence factor of cultural industry agglomeration in Jiangsu province and uses grey correlation analysis method to analyze the influence factors. Finally based on the results of competitiveness analysis of the cultural industry cluster of Jiangsu province and the factors affecting the result of empirical analysis, this paper puts forward the relevant recommendations.In this paper,the main conclusions are: Firstly, the level of development of cultural industry agglomeration in Jiangsu province is low recent years, and has not obvious growth trend. Secondly, the cultural industry agglomeration in Jiangsu province has passed by the period of germination, the government should change its role properly and pay more attention to cultivating entrepreneurs. Thirdly, the first three of the influence factors of the level of cultural industry agglomeration of Jiangsu Province are the level of economic development, scientific and technological level and situation of cultural industry development.The last three are the government policy, people’s living condition and the external cultural environment.Finally this paper puts forward some suggestions such as promoting industrial structure upgrade, improving people’s living standard, construction of cultural industrial park,optimization of culture industry chain,increasing investment in science and technology, promoting cultural innovation,transformation of government’s function and improving government’s service ability.
