"Chinese School" short for Chinese animation school, is a great winner of Chinese animation, which have created a brilliant in Chinese animated movies in the period before the founding of PRC to the "Cultural Revolution" and the period of the late Cultural Revolution to 1990s, it wins great reputation for Chinese animated movies both at home and abroad. Nowadays, the researches on Chinese animation school involves many fields, mostly concentrated on animation history, animation arts features, related industrialization research and so on, but there are not researches on animation creation. I believe that this is the lack of attention to the Chinese school of animation movies in this moment. In this paper, the research on creation of Chinese animation school fills the gaps in the current study. And facing the slump in today’s Chinese animated movie industry, it can play a guiding role, it is also a kind of affirmation for China Animation School from another point of view. After a detailed study of relevant information, is summarized that the creation of Chinese animation school is based on the original story-native-born to China, fully absorbed nutrients art of traditional Chinese culture, combined with the prevailing age, social-cultural background and style. Starting from the audience’s aesthetic needs, trying to create Chinese own animation movies which contains qualities of Chinese culture and popular features. This creation of "China School" is reflected in the selection and creation. After grasping the creation of "China School" animated movie, the author has stated the reasons of its glory and fade, hoping to bring some inspiration to the creation of the current Chinese animation.The first chapter was elaborated its creation from the selection of "Chinese School" animated movie. The use of non-live action, with great degree of exaggeration and deformation, with a strong romantic atmosphere, so its selection is also focused on the Chinese traditional stories with these features, therefore, ancient Chinese mythology, folk idioms, colloquial and classical fiction story are the best basis for selection. Here, the author focuses on analyzing the certain characteristics of the stories themselves, and pointing out that these features is the needs of Chinese animated movie in the selection. They are native literature with a strong Chinese flavor, in line with the Chinese people’s aesthetic taste. China Animation School creators created the animated movies with Chinese characteristics by using the advantages of far-reaching, meaningful and deep-rooted in these stories.The second chapter analyzed the specific formulation of "Chinese School" animated movies from the creation.The contents of this section showed its core creation, which is embodied in the deconstruction and remodeling of the chosen literary stories, starting from the internal structure even the soul of the works, the application of a variety of traditional cultural elements, all these make Chinese animated movies has a real sense of Chinese characteristics. What the reconstruction and remodeling are mainly reflected in analyzing the structure of the original text or restructuring. Reshaping the theme, setting the plot, arranging role; changing the ending of the original story, changing the narrative of original story, highly concentrating and pulling out the theme and the plot, focusing on intensify contradictions to get strong emotional effect; in order to achieve better performance results, you can learn from the various movie roles and images which appeared in other kinds of art, assisting animated movies achieved potentially desired purpose. For the specific formulation of animated movies, it is a real sense of "Made in China", included internal factors, such as theme, plot, characters, images, music, etc. All of these are in accordance with our own appreciation habits and aesthetic needs, bringing the qualities and the connotation of traditional Chinese culture into the animated movies.In the third chapter, after summary of the creation of animated movies in the first two chapters, it is pointing out the reasons for the decline of its glory and with the nature of comparative analysis and guidance. The glory of "China School", mainly because it has a more mature animation ideas, based on the rich cultural soil of the nation when selection and creation, and tried hard to dig the theme which is rich in the Chinese characteristics as well as meet people’s aesthetic taste, meet the national situations to produce excellent animated movies which possess national style as well as can reflect the characteristics of the era; in addition, the government provides strong support from the national economic and policy, a large number of employees were engaged in this industry and good animation market and so on, which are also made a significant contribution for the brilliant Chinese animated movies; the reason for its being decline, firstly, because the animated movies creators did not good grasp the popular aesthetic needs in the era of rapid changes, animation creation blindly emphasis on pure art, this persistence neglect the animation itself which is intended to convey the essence of sincere emotion, rather than explain to the people the importance of a national art with animated screen; secondly, imitate others. This kind of imitation just stay in formally imitating the United States, Japan and other animated animation powers, they seem to forget the real reason for their significant success depend on animated movies from connotation to the spirit of creation; Thirdly, the changes of country’s economic policy and the lack of creative talent are also severe damage for it; Finally, through comparison and analysis the cause of success and failure, and summed up the "China school" in animation film on the creative characteristics of the present guiding significance. On select material, tradition and reality, both to national culture is rooted in the fertile soil, also want to pay attention to real life guidance; In the specific formulation, to shape the national animation image, animation creation connotation is rich, avoid by all means is blind worship and imitation.
