Research On State And Society

The thesis takes "relationship between state and rural society" as a research topic, and takes Guilin area as an example,through the changes of civil disputes governance mode in Guilin area, analysis the changes of the relationship between state and society in the rural grassroots. The precious documents, such as contracts, agreements, stone, paper and so on, provide us the convenient conditions for study the passed life.Based on the influence of the state power, the rural elite of disputes in rural society governance, the paper studies the rural governance from the traditional, the Republic of China, the new collectivization period, and after the reform and open period. Through the case of civil disputes management evolution in Guilin area,to show a form between countries region and country, the rural elite and the country, the state power and the rural elite interactive relationship, and then visit the national authority into the changes in the situation of rural society.This thesis consists of introduction, body and conclusion of five chapters. The introduction part is the logical starting point,tell us the topic background and the significance of the topic, reviews the related research, and summarize the research status and methods.The main body includes five chapters, described from the time dimension.The first chapter introduces the cultural and geographical environment in Guilin area. Guilin is located in Northeast of Guangxi, Because of the mountain,complex terrain, it is easier caused disputes.So the disputes are constantly evolving in different historical periods.The second chapter, in case of the Qing Dynasty, through the interpretation of a large number of contract, inscriptions, detailed introduces the traditional civil disputes in the way of governance.The Qing Dynasty officials center-less and inability to control the rural society, on the contrary, rural village naturally become the "rural world ruler".The third chapter,illustrates the dispute the way from the beginning of the Republic of China to the late stage of Republic of China.At this stage,the state power has been slowly into the rural society in the river,like the waters of a stream.The fourth chapter, from the founding of new Chinese to reform and opening up,new measures on involving rural society has built -- the people’s mediation committee mediation organization and office.People’s national consciousness and legal consciousness has been an unprecedented increase. The national power penetrated into the rural society.The conclusion part,though a long evolution of the state and the rural society in the history of the relationship, finally,it established the national authority in rural society. Nowadays, with the people’s national consciousness, legal consciousness constantly improve, the more need for a strong government support.
