China and Mongolia are good neighbors. Economic and cultural exchanges are increasingly frequent between these two countries. From 21 th August, 2014 to 22th August, 2014, Chinese President Xi Jinping successfully paid a visit to the Mongolia, which made our friendship going further improvement. That is the reason why an increasing number of Mongolian students decide to learn Chinese these years. Most of my students want to go to China for universities, they even want to stay in China for years. The rest of them maybe help their parents in their transnational business. However, Chinese and Mongolian belong to different language families. Their stereotype of Mongolian thinking habits has seriously influenced their Chinese acquisition. As a postgraduate of TCSL, I taught in Mongolia for one year, from 15 th Oct, 2014 to 5th May, 2015.HSK is an international Chinese standardized examination, used for testing the learners who are the speakers of other languages. At present, more and more foreigners begin to learn Chinese, and HSK has become an important standard line for measuring their Chinese levels.During this period, I felt the enthusiasm from my students, every time they triedtheir best to pass the HSK exam.I taught in Khishig middle school in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. My students were in Grade 9, and I was their HSK teacher. During this year, I found some errors in the process of teaching, so I collected their papers first and analyzed, summarized these them, gradually, I summed up the reasons why they made these errors. At the end of my thesis, I related some efficient and effective teaching strategies. My paper contains three parts except the foreword introduction. In the introduction, I elaborate the research method, research significance, research objective and collecting errors from the students, what’s more, I also introduce the relative methods from language scholars home and abroad. The new HSK test as an official Chinese proficiency exam is not that long, it is a revolution based on the original HSK test. In present, the research papers about the new HSK are comparatively few, which makes me decide to choose this point to do a detailed research. In Part I, I analyze the reading questions of filling in the blanks in the New HSK-4, and find the examination sites related to Chinese vocabulary and grammar, through collecting errors and classifying errors, I find that noun, verb, adjective and adverb which are so difficult to Mongolian Chinese school students, and this situation showing in the Chinese grammar is predicate and adverbial which are extremely difficult to the them. In part II, I calculate and classify the errors they made in daily tests in a detail. I also explore the root causes of their errors. I do a classification of the testing pointsin the section one of the new HSK reading part, which is the pre-work for me to finish a comparative research and realize the errors centered on adjective, adverb and verb. In Part III, Based on the forward researching, I come to a conclusion that the most errors they made in the tests due to the differences between these two languages, they are different in grammar and sentences’ structures. Therefore, their mother tongue give a negative influence in their foreign language acquisition I put forward a series of efficient and effective teaching strategies. In the end, I hope my paper could make a contribution to Mongolian Chinese language education.
