Jiao Miao Ge Ci of Han Dynasty is a kind of movement, which is used to sacrifice the God and the Earth and also used to praise the merits of the ancestors. An Shi Fang Zhong Ge and Jiao Si Ge are the two series of Jiao Miao Ge Ci which are the most representative that have been preserved. In this paper, we use three parts divided into the introduction, the body and the conclusion, to have a research at the text, the author and the background, in order to make an analysis on the foundation of Jiao Miao Ge Ci of Han Dynasty,and also be aware of its political significance and literary value.The introduction is mainly about the academic value to do the research and the current study of the topic, in order to summarize the current problems existed in the research.Based on analysis of the various viewpoints of previous study, we should think highly of its literary value and also pay attention to its function of art and political significance. Finally, the innovation of this paper on the research will be pointed out.The body of this paper will be divided into two periods,the start-up period of the sacrificial rites and music system in Han Dynasty and the monarchal sacrificial rites and music system based on the unification.The first chapter focus on “An Shi Fang Zhong Ge”,the representative of the ancestor worship.Based on analysis of the social background,the article summarizes the necessity and the process to found the rites and music of sacrifice,for the sake of comprehending how it works in ruling the empire.By the analysis of the text, reducing the sacrificial ceremony in the early Han Dynasty, to summed up the "filial piety" and "de",which is the core of the ideological connotation. By studying the tone and sentence feature, the article concludes that An Shi Fang Zhong Ge belongs to the "sound of Chu".The structures of its sentence,including the three words and the seven words, have inherited from "Chu Ci".The second chapter focus on the function of political meaning and the artistic value of Jiao Si Ge when it was used in ritual sacrifice. During the unification of Han Wudi, the ritual sacrifice activities are more frequent and the ceremony is more perfect. The will of the emperor occupied the dominant position in this stage of national sacrifices. By investigating the background of ritual sacrifice system, the article roughly teases when Jiao Si Ge was written,who wrote it and the principle of the text arrangement. Based on the research, under the political background of the unification,this article sums up the political significance of sacrificing “Tai Yi”and the result of the emperor leading sacrificial rites and music system construction reflected from the thought of “You Xian”.The third capture summarizes the achievements of the sacrificial rites and music system’s foundation in Han Dynasty. As the core of social institutions,the sacrificial rites and music plays an important role in maintaining the regime rationality and ideological ethics.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of this paper on the study of Jiao Miao Ge Ci in Han Dynasty.
