"The police drama series" is that the Television Broadcasts Limited from 2005 to 2009 launched the three police drama, on behalf of the Hong Kong police drama since the new century.The classic narrative and great originality business model not only brought a ray of hope for the revival of Hong Kong but also became a cultural phenomenon. Although the "cop series" have received peer recognition at home and won the audience’s reputation abroad, the academic study on it is still weak, and does not pour too much attention. Therefore, it is necessary to study deeply on the system and, in order to explore their implications for similar television drama in the narrative and commercial operation.According to the current situation of the research, this paper is based on the text of the film "cop series", using the narrative theory, on the basis of previous studies, starting from "cop series" narrative strategy, narrative structure, narrative pattern, character setting and other aspects of cultural connotation, analysis of its narrative strategy and cultural implication, for its successful reason and the rule of making to provide us with a useful reference for making TV series.
