The slowness of the development of domestic translation in logistics results in the lag of transportation translation. And compared with the road transportation translation, water-way transportation translation is relatively far less focused. What’s more, because much attention has been paid on the research and study of theory and significance of translation of logistics, materials in association with River-and-Sea Transportation translation is far from sufficient. It is hoped that this study on River-and-Sea transportation translation will supply translators with as many necessary references as possible in their translation careers in the fields related. This study can not only provide the researchers with information, but make contribution to the Heilongjiang River-and-Sea Coordinated Transportation.Chosen as the translation text, Development Project of Heilongjiang River-and-Sea Coordinated Transportation is mainly related to the importance of River-and-Sea Coordinated Transportation to Heilongjiang economy and the design and implement of it. At translation preparation period, the author double checked the information, by reading very carefully and concluded some translation skills and strategies by referring to the relevant translation skills of River-and-Sea Coordinated Transportation. In the translation process, on the basis of the Skopos Theory of Functionalism and Newmark’s Text Type Theory, this text can be classified into informative text category, and the communicative strategy of translation is suitable to be used in pursuit of the authenticity of the text. The important and difficult points in translation are paraphrased from the perspectives of language features and translation requirements. In the course of translation, the author summed up the strategies of River-and-Sea Coordinated Transportation, namely the use of acronyms, the use of technical terms, conversations of sentences, nominalization structures and the use of noun phrases. Meanwhile, some of the mistranslation examples and the revised versions are presented in the hope of supplying translators with necessary help, hint and warning.
