The Study On Horse Award For The National Minority Literature Creation

Horse Award, the National Minority Literature Creation Award, is a national award for literature, which was found in 1981 and sponsored by C hina Writers Association and State Ethnic Affairs Commission. Horse Award, Lu Xun Literature Prize, Mao Dun Literature Awards, and The National Excellent Prize for children’s Literature are four highest ones for literature, which were set up by the Chinese writers association.Horse Award is still on the long way of its development and intertwines with ethnic literature creation and its development. This study with four different parts will analyzes its foundation, contents, development and outlook from different perspectives respectively.The first chapter mainly narrates the background and environment of its foundation. The second chapter mainly narrates the different stages of its development. The third chapter focuses on the award grant ing regulations and the main characteristics of Horse Award. The fourth chapter manly discusses the influence of Horse Award on the nationalities literature’s creation and the major achievements of today’s nationalities literature under the influence of Horse Award as well as its outlook.
