The Display Method And Creation Of New Media Image Art In Expositions

In recent years, along with our country successively held all kinds of large-scale cultural display projects, we extensively made use of the concept of new media technology and new media art in the process. And such a new way of display makes our cultural display art to have significant changes. It is in this overall background that this paper describes some thinking on the technology, display ways and creation of the new media image art.With an eye to developing process of new media video art at home and abroad, this paper cleared up the application of new media art and technology in large exhibitions and studied it in two aspects: display space and composition of contents. Then, it compared the difference of traditional video art from new media video art in creation and display ways.The view of “open source creation” proposed is just application of creation methods and theories based on open software and hardware platforms in practice. The basis of research mainly originates from my accumulative practice experience and methods in participating in art projects for years. Finally, theoretical statement on “open source creation” of new media art was formed.
